The Light at the VS wiki. Another good episode. There was maybe a little too much going on in the space of one episode, but it mostly worked.
This episode dealt with the Green Lantern Corps and the multiverse. We learn Bruce is from a different Earth, brought here and his memory wiped. We discover that The Riddler is also at Gotham High, only not a villain yet.
And that Ra'as (should it be Ra's) is still alive. Ra's Al Ghul is, of course, the near-immortal eco-terrorist who revives himself via the Lazarus Pit, which seems important to the overall arc. Hmm...
Bruce asked Jennifer for help, and Principal Finger discovers a power ring in the basement. Things are getting interesting now...

I'd agree with that. This episode was intended to standalone (as shown by Alan Scott and Molly leaving at the end), but whenever you introduce wider continuity and mythology you run the risk of complicating things too much. It's the learning process for a piece, and the next episodes will slow down a lot and be more character led.
I like your theory on Bruce.
It should be Ra's, that was a slip-up. I'll edit that into the script.
Yep. They'll slow down for a few episodes, mind. First three episodes were heavy on the arc and plot, so now I'm going to focus on Jennifer, Bruce and Alfred (in that order) over the next batch of episodes.
